Visuals for the Cutting Edge & Next fashion show at the Modefabriek. During the Amsterdam Fashion week 15 talented young designers showed their differtent collections in this show. I was asked to make a series of 15 different animations with the theme ‘Destorted Grid’. For these visuals I used paper and After Effects as my tools. Click Here for the compilation of the show.

This ‘Making Of’ video showcases a project that started over two years ago generating dynamic textiles made from liquid, vapor and air. 1.2 kilometres of transparent plumbing tubing was knitted with fishing wire to skin Robyn’s body. 40 litres of glycerol pumps through over a kilometre of tube, powered by drill pumps that connect to valves releasing air intermittently between the liquid. Gradient colors pulse through the tubes at different speeds, the effect is a living, breathing dynamic skin that traverses the landscape of the body.

Music video for the song Tunnel by TWR72. Inspired by their minimalistic sound with a huge climax, we made a 21st century version of the liquid light shows from the late 60′s, which they also use in their live preformance. All visuals in this video were made by hand.

Visuals for the Cutting Edge & Next fashion show at the Modefabriek #31. During the Amsterdam Fashion week 15 talented young designers showed their differtent collections in this show. I was asked to make a series of animations with the theme ‘bright colors’. The visuals were recorded on various pieces music picked by the fashion designers for their fahion show. I combined these sounds with the colors of their collections and created a set of 13 different powder explosions.

Graduation Project about the essence of beauty. I used ten models and found a way to reveal their wrinkles of the future. The research and portraits are shown in Dis-Covering, a book about the beauty of transitoriness. For the Milan Design Week I was commissioned by Goods to present 2 large photo’s scaled 2 by 3 meters and a small publication of the book.

Concept film for nike. This Nike shoe is so light, it can float. In this movie the shoe is surrounded by al the tools that where actually used by the inventor.
